I've been using the first set for about a year on my commuter with no issues, I've never had any water ingress even when leaving my bike outside in the rain for an entire shift (no indoor parking for me). Roll top is definitely better for that though, almost impossible for water to get in aside from extended periods of being fully submerged. I have a set of these as well, the smaller 6L size, and I like them more. I plan on eventually swapping out my others for a larger set of this model. To all the other commenters, if someone is asking about budget options don't immediately recommend one of the most expensive options on the market where a single bag can cost multiple times more than the complete set they're looking for. That isn't helping anyone.
