One of the biggest things not talked about enough is that a lot of medical things come from the patient.. I read 70% of all useful information doctors use to treat patients comes from talking to the patient. Know your body and your mind. Sounds like you do, so if this is concerning to you then your instincts could be correct. Go get checked out and don't take no for an answer and start digging into what it could be. They are starting to realize that dementia can start even 20 years before its start to really be noticed. Also, as a first step I HIGHLY recommend the book from Dr. Dale Bredesen. "End of Alzheimer's Program" (link below). Its very practical and has lots of things to test, look for, and things you can do. In addition why not - Get an MRI of your brain and see if it shows anything... if not then its a good baseline now for future reference - Take a cognitive test. They probably wont want to do this because it is expensive and can take a long time to get scheduled but push for this and again its a good baseline Look into other tests that could be helpful. For example ask Chat GPT and tell it your symptoms and find out if there are blood tests, etc. Also, how is your exercise, sleep (especially) and as mentioned already get your hearing checked.
