My debut Awakening of the Ascendant came out in April, but I’m only recently starting to figure out the right channels to put it in front of readers. I’m a new author, so a lot of this is still me learning where the book fits and how to reach the people it might actually click with. This one is dark progression fantasy with explicit harem elements - no blue boxes, no stat sheets, no system mechanics. The progression is more awakening power, relics, factions, forbidden rites, and a thief MC getting pulled into something much bigger than he was ready for. Short version: a street thief takes one last dangerous job, steals the wrong relic, and wakes something ancient in his blood. Betrayal follows, the woman he loves is taken by a secretive order, and the road after her leads into old powers, brutal enemies, and a much larger war already beginning to stir. In my case, this was simply missed. I pick up a lot of the books mentioned here either via KU or purchase and this cover would have been a purchase assuming the blurb has a decent description. Seems to be straight fantasy vs isakei but going to give it a shot.
