I much prefer a media cabinet unless you are pets. Those 4 inch filters are great. But i would ask why they are recommending a 20x20 cabinet. A 16x25 cabinet is the same surface area, but a much easier size to find. I also prefer an oversized filter, that way, air has a much easier flow. My 80k btu uses a 20x25 cabinet. I love it. I like elevated pads for condensers. Helps minimize accidental damage from weed wackers or animals. As for the rest of the stuff, it kind of becomes nit picky unless you have a good relationship with the installer. I like having a TRUE p-trap. https://www.amazon.com/Rectorseal-83210-Standard-Smart-Trap/dp/B00BMUKAZC If it's in the attic, i like having triple protection. Safety switch on the primary drain (the one I linked above has one), safety switch on the secondary drain and a safety switch on the emergency drain pain; all wired in series with each other. You can never be too safe. It's much cheaper now to put protection in now than ceiling repairs in the future. I also like a shutoff with a blow out port. https://www.amazon.com/Supco-JV1B-Jones-Valve-Condensate/dp/B01LYXYNIO I would also add a union after the shutoff valve so they don't have to cut the pipe in the future. Ask for a report of final refrigerant levels, pressures, subcooling and superheat. This will give you a baseline of day 1. Ask for a combustion analysis and a draft analysis for the furnace. Again, this is for baseline. Ask for a static pressure test. This will tell you if the equipment was installed to manufacturer specifications. And it will give you a baseline of how hard your furnace is blowing on day 1. I prefer the filter dryer next to the evaporator coil. This keeps it out of the elements. If you are getting 2 stage equipment, make sure your thermostat is wired to be able to control the staging. I don't like automatic staging by the equipment itself. Where you are, i would consider 2 stage equipment since it will be much more comfortable. But it will cost a little more upfront.
