I have these pedals and have had this exact issue and had to get a little creative. I bought an exercise wedge for my heels and that has alleviated any issues with the height. I just cut it to size and it works perfectly. Not the cleanest looking solution but more comfortable than metal since I usually wear socks only. Also you can lower the pedal face plates by using the top two holes on the plates instead of the bottom two. This should help address some of your issue Edit: Your pedal plate should also be angled upwards with the side near you lower than the side farthest from you. Watch Daniel Morad’s video on ergonomics and he tells you what angle you should have your pedals at. Then you will like “recline” the Sim Lab pedals down to match. This should help some too
