I saw your post on this and added this to my Amazon wish list. The issue is after research, I would want to put it inside a wall/electrical switch/outlet box. FWIU, these need to have airflow as they generate heat. Specifically says do not mount in wall. I have a three switch box in the wall behind the doorbell inside on the foyer wall. Easy straight drill through. One of the switches I disconnected and capped. My thought was to throw an outlet in its place and use this: Transformer My other possible solution is I do have wires behind it from an old Nutone intercom system that I had removed when I bought the house. Unfortunately those wires are dead. There is a possibility that the other end is near my breaker panel. I cut a bunch of shit out years ago cleaning up the wall and I do have a few cuts wires that *could* lead to the doorbell. If it does, I will use your solution.
