Oh wow, this could be me. Same here, 6.5-month-old baby, first-time mom, family lives thousands of kilometers away, husband works remotely but it is me and baby 24/7 though. My mantra the first time after my husband went back to work (he was on paternity leave for 3 months) was "I hate my life!" "I cannot do this" "I don't want this." It was horrible (and no, it wasn't PPD, it was just all that mom work). Then I discovered a book where someone explains exactly that: "What to do when you love the kids but hate the job." I'll put the link in here, this book saved me! I just accepted that I don't like the job but love my baby to the moon and back. And suddenly it got easier (I have a velcro baby who only contact napped and co-sleeps). But even though it became easier and slowly I really like being a mom, still not my favorite job in the world, but I accepted it. Here ist the link: https://a.co/d/0cCbKndR
