The fluid is usually changes when the clutch job is done. It's super easy to replace yourself. You need to use DCT fluid. Ford Motorcraft is like $35 per bottle and you need 2. Valvoline and Triax have some on amazon that are $15-16 per quart usually. I use Triax in mine. You'll need an H8 socket and a breaker bar or just a longer socket wrench/pipe to add leverage. It's on there good. Break it loose and remove the plug and let it drain. After it's done, put it back on and tighten it down. Just needs to be nice and tight. Then using a transmission funnel(long skinny one) you can fill it from the vent hole between the battery and the engine. It takes like 1.7-1.8 quarts. When I do mine I just dump in 2. I replace mine every 2 years. It helps ensure the seals and bearings in it stay good. Here is a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNReSGI1mEA He shows the check plug. You don't need to bother with it. It's a pain to get to so just estimate close to 1.7-1.8 or just dump in 2 like a lot of people do.
