No, not really. The biggest hurdle is getting the accessories to make things really work. For me, that meant I had to get: A new strap so the thing actually sits on your head properly Controller grips with knuckle strap instead of the default wrist wire A different facial interface so my glasses/lenses don't fog up constantly A router so I can connect my Quest to my PC wirelessly Virtual Desktop because Quest Link sucks Now I just start Virtual Desktop on PC, move my office chair away from the desk to an open space, put on the headset, grab the controllers, boot up Virtual Desktop on my headset, connect and I'm set.
