I have these for my shower floor drain. You don't want that in a sink - you want one of these instead. Doesn't stick to anything, just sits on top and the wide flange holds it in place. You want one matching the diameter of your drain (in case it's not universal?). You can pick it up, dump the bits in the trash, then rinse it off and just put it back in.
