I'm 50 and like you have hooded eyes, I don't even bother with eyeshadow, it gets lost. My eyeliner was creasing on my hood so I started using a dark brown eyeshadow and a small brush and that solved the creasing problem. Like you, I have dark circles under my eyes and is the best concealer I've found this it doesn't settle into our fine lines and has good coverage. I just apply it with a makeup sponge.
