I did experience that exact issue with some switches that had to bottom out to connect and hitting it off angle kept it from triggering. I'm pretty surprised you're having that issue with a switch that long since a 4mm switch should be adding a tiny bit of height to the cap compared to most and I'd assume that would give you more room before it jams up when hit at a weird angle. I'm currently enjoying these, but they have similar stats to your current ones, (but shorter overall) so that might not be helpful. I'm wondering if it's a mix of the total length and the pre-travel. It's pretty hard to find your personal goldilocks zone as your off-angle button press is different than my off-angle button press and they don't have a huge variety of pre-travel distances on switches. I'm really curious to know what you end up with. edit: It's worth noting that even though I linked some silent switches, they do not make the button silent. The sound is mostly coming from the fact that the plastic body of the stick is hollow.
