I believe KVM does have EDID, and has worked 12+ months otherwise with my desktop and previous laptop without issue. I have been able flip back/forth between the two devices without screen re-draws or any other Windows indication that it sensed the monitor going away, like what I usually see on a non-EDID KVM. That said, upon going back to the sales link, I note they don't call out EDID in the literature. The brand is "CKLau" from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TWKCQ7J EDIT: Manufacturer page: https://www.cklau.com/copy-of-622t The docking station is Plugable UD-3900PDZ: https://plugable.com/products/ud-3900pdz 4k @ 60hz KVMs aren't cheap as chips, but I concede I may be at the point where I need to try another one.
