Ill copy and paste what I posted on the farmily page: 📣I always see people asking for tips! So here are a few I've used over the past decade: -emergency blanket over your bedding at night while your out partying so it's not damp from the condensation when you crawl into bed later. Stay cozy! -aluminet shade cloth, to reflect the sun over your tent. https://a.co/d/bkutEYf -nasal sprays with saline solution to get rid of the dust. https://a.co/d/bcpPaLv -garden spray bottle with continuous spray and a bar of soap in an exfoliant glove/sleeve tied on, perfect hand washing station. -bonnet for your hair after a shower for your walk back to camp so it's less dusty and dry before getting dolled up. -pre pick out and bag outfits for each day, keep organized and save space. Remember that the days are HOT and nights are COLD so bring layers. Try to always have at least a pash or scarf with you at night when going to and from camp, tie it to your bag/belt/fanny pack -bottles of ensure or protine drinks incase its to hot to cook or your not in the mood to physically eat but need your nutrients. -easy to eat foods, Nuts, protine bars, jerky, fruit like watermelon for hydration and bananas for potassium -bring multiple pairs of shoes, comfy closed toe shoes, boots, sandals (a pair you can strap on and wear in the river is best, flow is strong so strapped sandals are good or water shoes, your flip flops will be swept off) -bring a wagon, easy to transport your stuff, and its such a bonus when you fill up on water and ice, bring multiple water containers -bandana! Or face mask, I bring one for each day! Your lungs will thank you, always wear it walking to and from camp, even at the stages as people are dancing and stomping, dust is in the air, and its not just mud, its cow poop 🐄 -do NOT forget your earplugs!! I use this one: soclerg 70% Aluminet Shade Cloth... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BJHJ2NY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share FYI the percentage just tells you how tightly woven the aluminet is. I also have one that is 85% but I think I prefer the 70% because it still lets a good amount of breeze through while reflecting a ton of sunlight! The reason why you wouldn’t want black is because it absorbs sunlight, thus retaining heat. Reflective is the way to go!
