I started with the Weber crafted griddle to see if I would like it, then found the Stanbroil stainless full-sized insert and it now lives in the grill. Occasionally I’ll switch to the smaller crafted griddle if I want some grill space for steaks at the same time. https://a.co/d/0a2ga3Ar The stainless is thick and heavy, about the same as the Weber. No warping. No real issues with sticking. I spray some avocado oil on before adding food. I let chicken and fish brown a little and release before flipping. Smash burgers are great. I have not done breakfast on it. It doesn’t build up seasoning like the carbon steel does but is still low maintenance and won’t rust. I was worried about cooking on stainless, but it’s been great. The Weber full sized insert was $$$ I’d rather spend on a Slate if I ever end up getting a dedicated griddle.
