On my Road Glide, and on my Boulevard when I had her, I loved it. But I think you need to be SURE of what kind you're getting before you do. Most HT shifters are two parts. But some are a single arm, connected at the shift bolt. Those I avoid, because you have no adjustability. This Kuryakn HT shifter is an example of what NOT to get. Because it's a single piece connected just over the shift bolt itself, you can't adjust ONE arm, without counter-adjusting the other. Drop the front arm, you raise the rear for example. This Benlari HT shift arm is what I have on my Road Glide. It's two separate shift arms, that are both still splined, so I can raise or lower either side without affecting the other. Aside from that, I would just say to learn how to install it yourself. My Benlari took about 20 minutes, and I have ZERO mechanical skill. 😄 But being able to adjust it myself, meant I didn't have to take it to the shop when I first got it, after my Denali Sound Bomb Horn got put on my RG. I was able to drop the front arm just enough that it made downshifts easy, without clipping the horn housing.
