Oh, gosh, yes. I cannot do that, either. I can draw other people's blood with little problem, but not my own. Our bodies and minds are pretty well wired to avoid breaking our own skin! Are you able to get the kind of lancet that "pops" the needle out when you press it against your finger (like the lancets used for blood glucose testing)? You place the plastic holder against your finger and press down and the needle punches your skin for you. For some reason, that gets me over the mental hurdle when I have to stick myself.
