You can install the conduit along the front centerline of the mast so that it's a straight shot from the light right into the conduit. The best way to fish a line is to use an old piece of small rigging cable (1x19). That is flexible enough to enter the hole and make the turn and stiff enough to be able to push and feed down. An electricians fish tape might work as well depending on how much room you have. Do the same trick of pulling a good string first (I use something like this and then use that to pull the wire. Side note - it looks like you pulled the forestay out of your furler. Of all of the things we are discussing, that's going to be the most difficult for you. Ideally you wanted to use your old forestay to guide and string the new one. With the forestay removed, the new cable is going to get stuck at every joint in the foil.
