Just did a road trip with our 7, 10, and 12 year old. We stopped at the best toy store in Sioux Falls and they had a bunch of these iq games. They’re little puzzles that can be done tons of ways. It kept all of their attention way longer than expected. Hopefully you can find them at a brick and mortar store or find their website: https://a.co/d/0i4GyBq6 Also successful items: dry erase boards with multiple colored markers, origami, and a map to track our progress and the license plate game. Biggest winner was an engaging audiobook for everyone to listen to. Your crew is slightly younger than ours, but the audiobook subreddit has great family recs. Good luck!
