i have a stack of glass tubes, very similar to what you have there. ive thought about trying to make a beehive https://www.amazon.com/Benvo-Cardboard-Replacement-Beekeeper-Accessory/dp/B0BZ871M5N used similar to whats in the pic... but, cover the outsides completely, allow it to get dark shy the entrance etc.... with the glass, i could take the sides off and see inside. no idea if itd work or be healthy, so ive not done it...
