The GBS-C might be easier to get than the RAD2X depending on where you are, but you will also need RGB or component cables to go with that. With the RAD2X being about $130 US (plus you need to buy a Mini-HDMI cable so it costs more) the McBazel GBS-C ($90) and an Insurrection Industries RGB SCART cable ($28) is actually about the same price for better results (1080p vs 480p output plus way more options and you can use it with more than just Nintendo systems).

RGB SCART cables are the best for picture quality, but 480i still looks like crap on HDTVs (2010 or modern). Most PS2 games do not have 480p modes. The best method is an RGB SCART cable into an upscaler that can do motion adaptive deinterlacing. That's my setup, SCART into a RetroTink 5x, which deinterlaces the 480i input and outputs 1080p. The SCART cables are found here: https://retrorgb.com/playstation2.html The RetroTink 5x is really expensive though at $325. I have heard good things about the GBS-C, which is only $90, has motion adaptive deinterlacing, and accepts SCART input. https://www.amazon.com/Mcbazel-ODV-GBS-C-Component-Converter-Console/dp/B0B4B2CM9F

The cheapest option I can think of is the RAD2X but it's UK based, or a GBS-C (like this model) but you'll need another cable (RGB or Component, but don't buy cheap cables).
