Im a big fan of giving books. Cowboy and Octopus is an extremely silly book about a cowboy and an octopus who are BFFs. It's more a series of goodball puns and vignettes than 1 continuous story, but I feel like any kid under 8 or so would love it. Here's a link to Amazon I bougt an old copy from a friends of the library sale for a buddy's kid and he laughed his little buns off. But OFC, any book related to the kid's interests would be great.
