I absolutely love the Tisas Carry 9 DS also known as the Tisas B9R Gen 2 DS 1911/2011. I have never had an issue with it after tuning the extractor. Before tuning the extractor I would have malfunction after malfunction. I also spent some time racking back the slide about 300 times and the racking is smooth as butter now. Regarding the Optic, I run the Gideon Judge XL with a DPP RMSC to RMSC titanium plate that really helped better position the red dot and helped me get a very reliable zero quickly. The DPP plate I purchased and am running on several pistols even if they are already precut for direct mount can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DY6WWHXX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title That little plate makes a world of difference with your optic as it adds about 1 degree to the mount really improving the fitment, the accuracy, the zeroing process, the return to dot, and maintaining zero.
