Not needed, a $30 pedestal universal stand mount will work fine. I've done this to two tvs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVDT8MY9?th=1 And it will look better, too.

You could get one of those $30 tabletop mounts for the TV to give it more clearance underneath for a soundbar, something like this is what I used myself.

Is it VESA compatible? Universal TV stand legs/pedestal bases that attach to VESA mounting holes would be your best bet if you want to put on a table. Did a quick search, just to show you examples of what I mean... you would have to make sure they can handle the weight of your TV, which I don't think these ones would https://www.amazon.com/Perlegear-Universal-Adjustable-400x400mm-PGTVS26/dp/B0BVDT8MY9/ref=sr_1_1_sspa https://www.staples.com/promounts-fixed-tabletop-tv-mount-110-lbs/product_24551216
