Yes really. Not really, I literally have pasted you a link to a WiFi6 router that is half the price of this Puppis. . Puppis S1 Lite currently $40: This Puppis S1 Lite is literally just a router, with ethernet ports and all. Whatever you thought negative about regular WiFi6 routers it will also apply here then. Not that there is anything negative about regular WiFi6 routers, it's just that you are trying to portray it as if there was 😀 So yeah you came full circle and presented a regular WiFi6 router as well (or worse if it also needs an app, but I doubt it does). . The full sized Puppis S1 for $67 is AX3000, which allows 160mhz wide channels on 5ghz band for a 2400mbps connection. You can occasionally find some reburished or otherwise heavily discounted AX3000 routers for cheaper but generally they are $80+. Once again - not really There you go, $5 more than the previous one and an AX3000 model: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRK3CYY3?ref=emc_p_m_5_i_atc . There isn't any more configuration needed for the Puppis than a regular router, basically just enabling the right band and setting the wifi password. You have just literally named two things that you don't have to do with a regular WiFi6 router, so yes there is more configuration with Puppis. . Newcomers would probably appreciate having a Desktop app to set it up rather than figuring out how to find the gateway address and use a browser to accesss the router's admin page. You don't have to do any of that. Router comes with WiFi set up and password printed on the bottom. All you do is plug it into your PC and write that password in gogles to have connection ready for streaming. And if need be, there is as much work to read IP from the bottom of a router and writing it in the browser, to get into router, as there is in writing addres to download that Puppis desktop app. The difference is you don't have to actually do it, and if you do it it ends there in the browser where with Puppis you also have to deal with the app. . And they dont have to worry about any existing internet routing if this is a 2nd dedicated VR router You don't have to worry about any of that with a PCVR dedicated regular WiFi6 router as well because it works exactly the same way, there is nothing special about Puppis in that regard. You plug in Puppis to get wireless between PC and gogles, well you plug in regular WiFi6 router exactly the same to get wireless between PC and gogles, it is just cheaper and easier.
