As from someone who had spent a lot of time trying to get the best out of Meta Quest 3, I recommend using Virtual desktop using an ethernet to usb adapter. The Visuals are alot better, I never had any kind of disconnect (that i remember). You just launch the VD app, set it up the first time and the next time you race is pretty much plug and play. Here is my setup : I have a network switch something like this : Amazon.com: TP-Link TL-SG105, 5 Port Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Switch, Network Hub, Ethernet Splitter, Plug & Play, Fanless Metal Design, Shielded Ports, Traffic Optimization : Electronics I have that switch plugged in to the wall. (i am lucky that my rooms has ethernet ports in them) then my pc is plugged into that switch. Then I have one of these : Amazon.com: BENFEI USB-C to Ethernet Gigabit Adapter with 100W Power Delivery, Thunderbolt 3/4 to RJ45 Ethernet LAN Network Adapter Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro/Air 2023, iMac : Electronics Plug an ethernet cable to that and plug it to the switch. The other end goes to the VR. then it has a PD-in port where you can plug in your VR charger so it wont die. Thats it! but im mostly on triples now cause im lazy doing all of that :) hope this helps

Sorry I accidentally put splitter instead of switch. https://a.co/d/08TLWKUT here is the model of the switch. I don’t believe it is the router as it’s been working fine for months.

Get a switch, and connect tcp booster to that then the switch to your computer and then to the Ethernet to USB c adapter and then plug in a usb power box to a power socket and the usb c into the Ethernet adapter. Then just make sure to enable the Ethernet on the Quest (look up the instructions) Adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3GZMN8X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Switch: https://a.co/d/0bLkpxya Install this library including the Java idk and ADB (Android Studio, the library links the versions you need and you can extract the ADB file in the same installation as the library. JDK can default its installation ) on your desktop: https://github.com/Genymobile/gnirehtet#run-simple After that enable developer mode on your quest 3 (meta horizon app on your phone, go to the headset icon then on the device. Scroll to headset settings > developer mode > toggle to enable. Now you will need to open the command prompt in the directory you installed ADB and run these commands after plugging in your quest to your computer with just a usb cable .\adb devices .\adb shell setprop debug.usb.ethernet.enabled 1 After that, unplug your quest 3 and plug in the Ethernet adapter with it setup with the Ethernet cable and usb charger. Turn off wifi and open virtual desktop. If it doesn’t work try restarting the Quest.
