I flew home with my 28lb, 8week old, squishy Newfoundland puppy from Seattle to Chicago. I got the largest soft-sided carrier knowing that it could squish down to go under the seat. Sturdibag 20” x 16” x 12” We had no problems and she was so chill! (If I could share photos I would). FAs said they didn’t even notice that I had a dog til we were deplaning. We flew FC, but learned that the under-seat space is actually larger in C+ than it is in FC.
