I hope you take her with. it sounds like she is well and truly part of your family. In general Siberians are more "dog like" than many of their feline counterparts. They travel better than most. Additionally, they bond well with their families as your experience has shown. They do have attachment to places, but what I have found in the 20+ years of having these wonderful companions with me is they are more strongly attached to their families. all things being equal, the trip will bring a challenge, but if your new place will be similar to your current one, I hope you figure it out. If you are flying, look for an approved pet carrier - I used one that had zip down sides when I brought two rescues from California to the midwest. this means it will fit under the seat if zipped and under your legs if expanded. Make sure when going through security you have them use a secure room for you to hold her while they scan the carrier. use good quality pheromones (feliway and others make several products) and also there is rescue remedy for animals. I personally am not fond of the prescriptions, but many people say they help. I also do not use collars as my kits are strictly inside the house or screened porch, etc. You will probably want a harness style to use while traveling. that way if you need to open the carrier for any reason you have more security. she is young and will adjust to you. oh, and while it is true I was bringing home rescues, I had a t-shirt I wore sent to the rescue before I picked them up. you might want t use a t-shirt of your son's to line the carrier to help sooth her. wishing you the best.
