If you can afford it 100% go get an eye exam and order a pair of prescription "readers"online. If you are near a lens crafters I know off the top of my head as of a year ago their eye exam is $99 with out insurance. Zenni.com is a great place for low cost single vision glasses. Their customer service is super helpful and they make the process so much easier. I ended up having an astigmatism in one eye and no issues in the other when I originally got glasses so trying cheap readers from the pharmacy never worked right and gave me a headache so I used nothing for the longest time. When I'm crafting and I forget to put them on I notice and then am like duh. And when I start shoving them on top of my head to get a closer look I know it's time to get my rx done again lol since I adhd out of my early exams. Also this style of neck lamp might be a lot more helpful and comfortable. It's great for being able to direct the light with out blinding yourself or someone else.
