I’m in a bad way. The last game I played was Left 4 Dead 2. Zombies. The last movie I watched was Resident Evil: Vendetta. Zombies. The last TV show I watched was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Vampires. The last book I read was Dead Until Dark, the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. Vampires. Most survivable: Sookie’s world. Two big reasons: Zombies do not have a STOP button (except for the zombies in Kingdom, which avoided sunlight). They are constantly in pursuit. Vampires in the Buffyverse know martial arts, so I would like to avoid that additional problem. There’s another advantage: At least vampires have to avoid sunlight. I would have the day to fortify my home and get supplies. Yes, I am aware I’m assuming I don’t have to evade or work against humans who are working with the vampires. If I stay inside and mind my business, I should be able to survive vampires. Assuming I have a reasonably secure shelter that I do not need to modify or worry about, and adequate supplies—and that I do not have to fight Renfields—I imagine I could survive at least 30 days.
