Room temp for 30 days in the instructions for the UK Kwikpen and actually a little more than that if you use https://tempex.lilly.com/uk/ to test some scenarios. The medication is far more robust than the guidance suggest and the cold chain requirements are more about making sure it lasts until the expiry date. Also remember you only actually use the pen for 21 days Dose 1 = day 0 Dose 2 = day 7 Dose 3 = day 14 Dose 4 = day 21 So that gives you 9 days of time before you open it so you can order in time. If you do get a mini fridge make sure you get a proper fridge with a compressor and not one of the rubbish thermoelectric can coolers or make-up fridges. Something like this would work well, but it's probably not necessary. You could also look in to getting something like a Frio wallet for use in heatwaves, which only needs water to keep it cool.
