I agree with this. It sounds like she's quite attached to the carrier for some reason, so letting her choose to come out of it and adjust to the cage at her own pace could be helpful. The blackout cover for sleeping is also going to be quite helpful. The only other thing I can think of to help would be something like a Log Hut that would give them a more confined space in the cage. It might be the confined nature of the carrier that is making her feel more comfortable. Please note that if you get this, you will likely have to do some more work/training with your bird to avoid them developing bad cage aggression habits. I've had good experiences with this specific log hut.
