Yeah super easy, if you swap out the sticks, it's just 2 more screws and that board for the button comes out too.Ordered these ones:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G6CQRF9W?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Was that after a reset of the pc or no reset? If you still don't want to return it or contact ASUS, you may need to open it and check the button board. It's really easy to get to. Just unscrew all the screws on the back, open the back, unplug the battery and the button board will be on your left. The first thing I'd check is if the ribbon is all the way plugged in on the button board. If it's not, try opening the black lever holding it in and push it in a bit more. If it is all the way in already and still acting up, it might be worth buying a new button board. There's a new one from ElecGear that's pretty cheap, easy to do, and improves the buttons. https://a.co/d/08EBMfvd

That's for the dpad. Be sure the ABXY option is selected! https://a.co/d/08o24h5x
