I use an et2800 which uses the same ink as the 1810. I find the the glossy paper with the glossy pouches makes the colors really pop, they are easy to read when in a matte sleeve but can be too reflective if in a glossy sleeve. I have also tried matte paper that a lot of people like to use without laminating but I did not like the texture when out of the sleeve and felt they were easy enough to bend and crease
