I am living in a cargo van right now and I charge my house batteries from the car's alternator. You have to run the proper cables and fuses from your starter battery to the charger, that's the only challenging part. For every hour the engine is running I get 30 to 50 amps into my battery (I can control the amperage in the app.) Look into it. The alternator charger and a small power station would be enough for your needs. Check the output of your car's alternator first, and don't take so much to create a huge draw.
