I’d recommend one of these, you can set it to a specific humidity level and it’ll kick on when it gets over that setting. It won’t regulate an entire enclosure as they are fairly small fans, but it will help with the cool side of the humidity is getting over 50% ETA: night time humidity rising is totally fine, that’s a fairly natural cycle

Cubaris is a tricky starter species. I’d recommend a setup like the one I have. It’s a 5 gallon aquarium with one half of the top covered with a piece of plastic and the other side is mesh- with a reptile fan that monitors the dry side for me, it kicks on when it gets a set number (for your species I would set it at 60%), so I just keep the wet side around 90%+ 3-4” of soil- I mix mine up with small pieces of lump charcoal, rotting wood, and leaves And then 2-3” of leaf litter. I keep long fibered sphagnum moss on the wet side and the leaf litter throughout. Add a few pieces of rotting wood, baked in the oven at 250 degrees for 40 minutes and partially bury them in the soil. You’ll need limestone for Cubaris (you can get limestone chicken grit for cheap)
