I agree! Check the diapers/wipes they use and buy that. And books! Book for babies for example. I really like the food idea, with you cooking or vouchers. And something for the mother. I usually bring books, but i also bought toothpaste, shampoo for children (i asked about the prefered brand). Or some fruit.. Things that go quickly.
