This sounds exactly like Thalia from my new series Early Retirement. She gets turned onto the idea of her boyfriend having multiple girlfriends after becoming a fan of the haremlit he publishes. There's nothing degrading or manipulative about the relationship. It treats a man with multiple girlfriends as a normal thing that the different members of the group agree to independently.

A year ago, Michael Young walked away from the LA grind, a job as a writer on a TV show, and the two women he loved who told him it was over without telling him why. He landed in Phuket, Thailand with a one-way ticket and a half-formed plan to disappear. Now he publishes fantasy harem novels under the pen name “Thurston Kade,” drinks his morning coffee on a hillside overlooking the Andaman Sea, and tries to forget about the life he left behind. Then he comes home one evening to find a topless Australian girl swimming in his pool; uninvited, uninhibited, and not the least bit sorry about it. Thalia is twenty-one, funny, full of adventure and fascinated by him. She takes a tropical island in the sun and turns it into paradise. What begins as an awkward encounter turns into something neither of them planned. Soon, Michael is living cheap and loving easy. Things get even more complicated when his Thai language tutor becomes something more than a teacher, with a surprising amount of encouragement from Thalia. He starts to wonder whether he really could have it all a second time. After al, if you don’t get the whole “two girlfriends” thing right the first time—Thai, Thai again! Between bathing elephants, weed and waterfalls, Michael finds himself living the kind of story he usually only writes about. Early Retirement is a slice of life men's romance set across Phuket and the mountains of northern Thailand. Funny, warm, and unapologetically spicy, it’s a story about second chances, found family, and learning that “escape” only becomes a destination when you’re no longer flying solo.
