He sounds like a strong minded bun with a caring & loving hooman by his side! Hope he recovers soon after getting a proper diagnosis and treatment. Did the vet suspect anything when you brought him for cleaning? I'm not sure if this would help, but if he is sitting in the litter box which might eventually cause urine scalding, consider getting a plastic grid litter box like this: https://a.co/d/0bfbR2XJ It has low entry and a smooth edge sround the grids. Like others said, if it's not a spinal cord injury, it can very likely be E. Cuniculi. Bringing up to your vet for sure. Sending prayers and well wishes. Stay strong!
