thank you i had did Model UN (it's like debate team but u represent different countries like its the UN & negotiate on resolutions) for some time + had a good philosophy teacher before i dropped out of uni that taught me about axioms & analyzing people's arguments its helped me in more than 1 scenario i tell you that much. If you are curious though understanding debate & making arguments is actually pretty easy once you get the core concept I recommend these tools as they will greatly improve your ability to debate at any level of life: Counter argument video | Best free videos that walk you through argumentation available on the internet - This is where things became automatic for me when i analyze arguments.
