Hell yes! So glad you got an audio probe going now. Mine has saved me countless builds or teardowns and rebuilds. It's always something simple and silly lol. Lately I've been lazy with using it, but I should break it back out for a couple of builds which had minor issues. Hmmm as far as flux, there's a gazillion ways to go about it. I would recommend either a pen or this paste/gel I use. I generally take an old thick resistor lead or toothpick and use it as a sort of spatula and apply a little bit of the paste on the area I want to solder. I have been using this stuff as of recent, but anything comparable and non corrosive would work just fine.
