The baby gym is the best if you know they don’t already have one, otherwise I’d opt for the clothes (I found 3-6 and 9-12 months were big gaps in what we were gifted/when we needed more clothes). Lots of people have preferences on what body product fragrances/brands they use for babies these days so I’d avoid anything like that. Other ideas that have been a hit for us/our baby girl:- mold-free bath toys (love the itsy ritzy ducks!)- stacking cups (these remain a favorite for YEARS – we have the ms. Rachel ones)- muslin burp cloths (can never have enough)- all-silicone spinners (my baby is obsessed and has been for months!)- a taggies crinkle me toy – lots of cute options if you look at the seller- a “where’s the” book (also lots of options) - these have felt flaps so baby can move them easily- o-balls - the pineapple and the regular non-rattle ones were my baby’s favorites- rattle wand - this has been a favorite since 3 months!
