We grew tired of waiting for the update so we bought an aftermarket dashcam that replaces the cowling around the auto dimming mirror. The only place it doesn't quite fit the same is right up by the fabric around the OnStar/Hazard/Emergency buttons, the corner is a little larger radius. It's only noticeable if you're inside the car and looking right at it.
