For taping: Note: I buy 4inch KT tape off Amazon. https://a.co/d/0gRLfLdk I also have a larger chest, so this advice may not work if you have a smaller chest. I am also by no means a professional so I’m sorry if this doesn’t work. protect your nipples. You can get specific nipple tape, but what I do is I cut a little square of kt tape, put some tissue / toilet paper over the nipple, and then tape it on using the square. Cut the tape. I usually cut them one by one, but I’ve heard most people do it all at once. For most pieces, I cut 4.5 “sections” of tape. bend over a bit (so your chest is “hanging”), then unpeel the first bit of tape and, while lifting up the breast a tiny bit, paste it on. Don’t go too close to the middle of ur chest (like where ur sternum is). Then, still leaning forward, tape the chest as far back as you can, until you get past it, to your back/side. For the last little bit of tape, don’t stretch it, and try to apply it as nicely as u can without wrinkles. This will keep it from peeling off. I next like to do the bottom piece. I again lift the chest up a tiny bit and apply the tape so it covers the entire rest of the breast area, and for this one I like to pull Up a bit along with back. Do the same thing for the rest of the application. repeat step 3 for the top piece of tape. Then, if there are any spots that you feel you could make flatter, do. for I think about 30 minutes, tape will rip off fairly easily, so I recommend not doing strenuous activity or wearing anything tight (like a binder) for the first little while. After that, though, in my experience at least, KT tape tends to stick extremely well. I replace every 5ish days. removing tape can be kind of painful, and I honestly have a lot of peeling skin from it but I think that is entirely because I do not remove it properly. Everyone I’ve seen online says to remove it in the shower, and maybe invest in some oil to help get it off.

When I used tape I used this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Kinesiology-Resistant-Adhesive-Athletic-Shoulder/dp/B08R7LT93V/ How to apply will depend on the shape and size of your chest, I recommend looking on YouTube for visual tutorials and accepting that there will be some trial and error before you get it right. It also may not be as flattening as a binder depending on your size and shape, in my experience it got me to like a chubby pec look but it looked natural and was a lot more comfortable than a binder so I was okay with the trade-off. Test a piece of any new tape you try on the inside of your arm for 24hrs before taping your whole chest so if you are allergic to the adhesive you don't find out the hard way. I found it helpful to pre-treat the skin with milk of magnesia before taping, there's tutorials online for this as well. It makes the removal much less unpleasant. Leave it on until it starts to peel on its own (about 5 days for me with that tape) otherwise removal will be very difficult and painful. You can shower/swim/sweat with it on, just be sure to get it dry afterwards. Round the corners with sharp scissors or else the corners will start peeling pretty quickly. Oh and cover your nipples with something, don't put tape directly on them. I always covered them with a piece of tape stuck the opposite way, stuff like band aids and cotton rounds held moisture and could irritate my nipples. Removal sucked a bit no matter what I did but waiting until it wanted to come off on its own, soaking it with olive oil, waiting like 10 mins, then carefully peeling it back in a warm shower was the least likely to cause irritation. If you rush the removal and damage your skin you'll have to bind with another method until the broken skin is healed, otherwise you'll double down on the damage and it'll hurt a LOT.

This is the tape I use and it’s been really great!! I find that the adhesive activates better if I blast it with a hair dryer instead of just relying on friction heat https://a.co/d/05hsCTfu And these are the tutorials that helped me learn to tape for large chest, they’re so helpful! https://youtu.be/YwP0NAjKg84 https://youtu.be/YfKFLhXOMWk https://youtu.be/DNVgGe731is
