It happens to me in shoes/boots that are big enough for my wide feet but have loose heels. The thing that worked for me was to use these thin-but-strong heel patches: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VP9LCNC Now that I am aware of the problem, I apply them when the shoe is new. They also work if you apply them at first sign of damage to the liner. Not sure if they can fix the amount of damage in your pics. Note: I tried Gorilla tape first, which resulted in a sticky mess that moved when warmed up by my feet — not a good solution. These patches stick better and seem to last forever. Note2: The adhesive is very strong after it cures. If you need to move the patch, move it immediately. Once cured, it is stronger than the liner, so trying to move it is likely to tear the liner.
