Any update? One-star Amazon reviews persuaded me not to spend money on this device. Battery life less than 4-8 weeks is reported by many buyers. Inability to track items even when it's working is another common complaint. The company BFADEHA is "nonexistent" in the words of reviewers, so the Chinese warranty is worthless. I will stick with better known brands, TY.
I just ordered this card from Amazon... 5-10 year battery, works with "find My" and is thinner than a credit card... https://a.co/d/2trNpbY
I just ordered this card that's thinner than a credit card that also works with "Find My" for my stepfather that keeps losing his wallet too... This card has a built in 5-10 year battery and makes a sound when looking for it... Everything the Airtag does... https://a.co/d/2trNpbY
Can anyone confirm these work like an airtag? Meaning, if you leave this behind, it'll connect to any other Apple phones nearby and update its location on FindMy. I was looking at another version that is similar (https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Tracker-Battery-Locator-Passports/dp/B0DJS9TP24/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8). One of the reviews said: 1.0 out of 5 stars Not good for stolen items. These are not like air tags that connect to any Bluetooth signal and will tell you its location. So these are pointless in the event of a stolen or lost wallet. And 1000% useless for luggage. You can only find its location and ping it once it connects to the Bluetooth to the ONE phone it was set up for. So, let’s say, you left your wallet at a store in a mall or airport….you will NEVER be able to recover your item (wallet) or find its location. This is only good if you put your wallet somewhere in your home and you roam through the house until you’re close enough for your phone to connect Bluetooth and then play a sound. Maybe a couch cushion and that’s it. This is a stupid item and is giving false hope to users who think they’re going to be able recover their wallet it if was ever stolen.
