I liked Hyllis Family (7 book series) Kindle Edition by Laurence Dahners (Author) To be honest, I don't have the audiobooks yet. But I have read the series several times and do plan on getting the audiobooks.
I love reading science fiction, and sometimes I get audiobooks too. I try to get audiobooks that have WhisperSync so I can read with the audiobook. In my openion Laurence Dahners puts out some incredible books But not all of the audiobooks are WhisperSync. The Vaz (4 book series) is a good example. The first book is not WhisperSync; the rest of the series is WhisperSync. “Vaz” is a near-future science-fiction novel about Vaz Gettnor, a scientifically brilliant but socially inept man on the Asperger’s-Autism spectrum. He does NOT understand other people. Spoiler: He does not tell his wife that he is rich, because he is afraid that she will make him go on a vacation with her. He does not like going to strange places and meeting strangers. What is great about Laurence Dahners's books is that he gives his characters a small amount of power and then lets them solve their problems with it. You may like the Hyllis Family (7 book series) also. Telekinetic by Laurence E. Dahners. “Telekinetic” is the first of a series of post-apocalyptic stories featuring the Hyllis family. The collapse of civilization has reduced their people back to iron and horsepower. The Hyllises tend to inherit “tele-talents” such as telekinesis and teleportation. Tarc Hyllis’ mother (and his grandfather before her) could “feel” things with their talent. They became healers because they could feel inside their patients, which frequently let them diagnose the underlying causes of an illness. Having made a diagnosis, unfortunately, there was often little they could do to treat a problem.
