Thanks so much for the insight. I am actively working to get rid of the moths. I even bought a new vacuum to clean all the crevices and have thoroughly vacuumed the best I can except the very top shelf of closet. Most of my wool and silk items are at the dry cleaners. I also ordered Trichogrammas and have been putting those cards down but I’m not sure if they’re even hatching or surviving. I’ve read a few people saying that they found the most success with them so I wanted to try them first before I resort to any chemicals. For now, the cleaning, Trichogrammas, and moth traps are the only things I am doing. Any tips on releasing them and getting the most out of them? Glad to hear you haven’t had any particular issues with the plastic storage and that you haven’t had any breaches from the moths. Do you use vacuum seal along with the airtight bins for double protection or for space? Do you think the airtight bins are not adequate by itself? Btw, these are the ones I purchased in case you want to try an alternative if the Sterilite one breaks. Can’t speak to longevity at this point, but the product just feels so well thought out. I’m happy with the quality thus far.https://www.walmart.com/ip/15923364647?sid=4A671EF1-220B-48DC-BF9B-F40B6AA20F8B I did hear that freezing the items before storage is the only way to make sure that all the moths are dead, but my freezer isn’t large enough and I’ve heard mixed things about whether the freezing can also damage the cashmere fabric fibers. Do you have a separate freezer for this purpose? How crucial do you think this step has been in keeping your items moth free? Or is it more just insurance?

For people in the United States who have access to Wal-Mart, I recommend these Ezy Storage bins: https://www.walmart.com/ip/EZY-STORAGE-WATERPROOF-4-7Gal-19Qt-18L-STORAGE-BOX-IP68/17810272739 They're only $8 each, IP68 waterproof, and hold 4 rolls of filament. The bigger bins definitely hold more, but I started off using the small 4.7 gallon bins so I just stuck with them. If you have the bins shipped, they're even cheaper: https://www.walmart.com/ip/6-PACK-EZY-STORAGE-WATERPROOF-3Gal-12Qt-11-4L-STORAGE-BOX-IP67/15923364647 Home Depot also sells the same bins, but at a significantly higher cost.
