Put a clock with time & date next to the sound meter, make sure camera can clearly see them, and have one in the main area of your place and one outside, preferably like...right outside a window on a ledge or in a planter box or something. Then you have absolute proof of the decibel level inside and outside your unit, with audio recording to catch things like cars & animals when the meter spikes outside, likely to much higher levels than indoors. When the landlord gives times and dates, now you have footage to prove they they're mentally unstable, delusional, and completely non-credible and untrustworthy.
