Okay, I love this place and it's got so much potential!! I am having a fun time doing a little mental decorating haha. Maybe a short runner instead of placements on the table. Some cherry red, salmon, or terracotta pillows to pick up the rug and/or art colors. If you like those Picasso repros I might bring in some similar fun "art" styles like this. Contrast scallop piping would be super cute. You need more texture in the place imo, not more pattern. A throw could be a good place for that tho I do like the one you have. The hall runner also doesn't go with anything. I'd do a solid in there, or even a runner in the same pattern as the rug if you can find it.
